Dana Dunlap

Dana Dunlap has been a Chan practitioner for over twenty-five years, training in gongan practice with Zen Master Joshu Sasaki in the Rinzai lineage of Japanese Zen Buddhism. He has studied Classical Chinese for over thirty years since he first fell in love with the language at the University of Minnesota in 1969. From 1971-1976, he lived in Taiwan where he studied at the Mandarin Center of Taiwan National University. Dana sits in meditation every day.
