Many of our titles are translations or adaptations of Chinese works. When looking for a specific work you can search the Chinese title in our search box, or use the language selector at the top of the page to view all of our titles with their Chinese information.

If you are looking for an English translation of a book by one of our authors originally published in a non-Chinese language, check our online catalog for the book in the original language, and see the translations that are available on the sidebar of the book’s info page.

7. Does Buddha’s Light Publishing accept unsolicited manuscript submissions?

Buddha’s Light Publishing does accept unsolicited manuscripts for consideration, though we are very selective in our acquisitions. BLP publishes English language books having to do with Buddhist religion and culture, with an emphasis on Chinese Humanistic Buddhism. We do not publish titles on self-help or new age religion. If you would like us to consider you manuscript please send:

  • A letter with a brief biography and an outline of the submitted work, its prospective audience, and how it compares to other works like it.
  • A resume, including any previous publications and your credentials in Buddhist practice or study.
  • The first chapter and a representative sample chapter from your work.

E-mail the above materials to submissions (at) blpusa.com, or you can send them via post to our mailing address. Materials sent via post will not be returned.
